Create SNS Banners in One Place with XBRUSH Canvas
One of the biggest headaches with SNS banners is that every platform has a different image size. Instagram posts are 1080×1080, YouTube thumbnails are 1280×720, LinkedIn banners are 1584×396. Adjusting the same image for each platform manually eats up time fast.
With XBRUSH's Canvas Editor, you can take an AI-generated image, add text and layout, build a finished banner, and resize it for every platform — all without leaving the workspace.
- Open Canvas Editor — Select an image in your workspace and click More → Edit in Canvas
- Pick a template — Browse the template gallery and apply one with a click, or start blank
- Place your AI image and add text — Drag your generated image onto the canvas, add a headline
- Adjust layers — Use the Layers panel to control stacking order, position, and size
- Resize for every platform — Open the Resize panel, select platform presets, and use magic resize
- Export — Save as PNG or JPG directly from the top Export button
Step 1: Open the Canvas Editor
Select an image in your workspace, then click More → Edit in Canvas.
The left sidebar has panels for Templates, Text, Workspace, Elements, Image Upload, Background, Layers, and Resize. Images you've generated in your workspace are available directly from the panel.
Step 2: Pick a Template
Open the Templates panel and browse available layouts.
Click any template to apply it instantly. You can replace the background image, text, and elements to make it your own. Or start from a blank canvas if you prefer.
Step 3: Place Your AI Image and Add Text
Drag your generated image onto the canvas, then add a headline using the Text panel.
If you use a transparent PNG (background removed), characters or products sit cleanly on top of any background or text layout.
Step 4: Adjust Layers
Use the Layers panel to control the stacking order and positioning of images, text, and decorative elements.
Select each layer to adjust position, size, and rotation individually.
Step 5: Resize for Every Platform
When your design is ready, open the Resize panel.
Platform presets for Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Twitter are all ready to go. Turn on Use magic resize to let AI automatically reposition text and elements when the canvas dimensions change. It's not perfect, but it cuts down manual adjustment significantly. Hit Export at the top to save as PNG or JPG.
Use a transparent PNG (background-removed) for your product or character before placing it on the canvas. This gives you maximum flexibility — the subject sits cleanly on any background color or template, and when you resize across platforms, only the layout shifts, not the subject cutout.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Can I use images from outside XBRUSH in the Canvas Editor, or only AI-generated ones?
You can upload your own images directly through the Image Upload panel in the Canvas sidebar. Any photo or graphic you have on hand can be placed on the canvas alongside AI-generated images, giving you flexibility to mix your own assets with generated visuals.
Q: What does "magic resize" actually do when I change platform dimensions?
Magic resize uses AI to automatically reposition and rescale text and image elements when you switch to a different canvas size. It tries to maintain the visual hierarchy and readability of your design. It doesn't always get everything perfect, but it significantly reduces the manual repositioning needed when producing the same banner for multiple platform sizes.
Q: What file formats can I export from the Canvas Editor?
You can export as PNG or JPG. PNG is recommended when your design includes transparent areas (such as a product on a transparent background), while JPG is generally smaller in file size and suitable for solid-background banners used on social media.
