Seasonal Ingredient Photos for Cafes — AI Styling for Strawberry, Peach, and More

When launching a spring strawberry latte, the image problem comes up every time. Stock photos look like every other cafe's posts. Buying strawberries and staging a flat lay costs time and money. And you need the image before the product launch, not after.

I made the seasonal ingredient images directly in XBRUSH — strawberry, peach, and sweet potato for autumn — each styled to match the cafe's brand mood.

With AI image generation, a cafe can produce professional seasonal ingredient visuals before the product even exists — no prop purchase, no staging, no photographer required. Switching between seasons takes minutes.

Step 1: Generate Seasonal Ingredient Images

In XBRUSH image generation, I wrote prompts for each ingredient's styling concept.

For strawberry: flat lay on a white plate, fresh with water droplets, pastel background. For peach: wood grain background, warm lighting, cross-section emphasizing the flesh.

Step 2: Create the Menu Announcement Image

Using the ingredient image as a base, I generated the full menu visual with a reference photo of the actual drink. Here's the strawberry latte styled with a cafe atmosphere background.

Step 3: Add Text in Canvas

I brought the completed image into XBRUSH Canvas and added a text layer — "Spring Strawberry Latte Now Available." Exported at Instagram feed dimensions and it was ready to post.

Step 4: Create Ad Images and Video with XBRUSH Ad Studio

Going beyond a static image, I used XBRUSH Ad Studio to produce an ad image and a short-form video featuring an AI model.

XBRUSH Ad Studio is an AI ad video creation platform connected to XBRUSH. Without any real-world filming or model booking, it generates short-form ad videos where an AI virtual model holds and introduces your product.

The woman in the ad image below is Ally, a virtual AI ad model. The scene — Ally holding a strawberry latte against a street cafe backdrop — was generated entirely in XBRUSH Ad Studio.

The same setup can go further than a still image. Below is a screenshot from XBRUSH Ad Studio showing the video ad creation process — Ally introducing the strawberry latte in a short-form video format.

The finished video exports in vertical format, ready for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, or TikTok.

Wrap-up

No prop purchase, no staging, no dedicated photo shoot. If you already have a photo of the ingredient, you can upload it as a reference and just change the background and mood. Switching between seasons takes minutes, which makes it much easier to keep up with seasonal SNS content. Add XBRUSH Ad Studio to the mix and you go from ingredient image to a full video ad in one connected workflow.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Do I need an actual photo of the ingredient to generate seasonal images?

No. XBRUSH can generate an image purely from a text prompt. If you have a reference photo, uploading it helps guide the style and composition, but it is not required.

Q: How specific should the prompt be for seasonal ingredient styling?

Specific prompts produce more consistent results. Including the ingredient name, surface type (white plate, wood table), lighting style (natural, warm, studio), and background color or mood gives the model enough to work with in the first generation.

Q: Can XBRUSH generate ingredient images for all four seasons?

Yes. The same workflow applies to any seasonal ingredient — strawberries in spring, watermelon or peach in summer, sweet potato or chestnut in autumn, and tangerine or chocolate in winter.

Q: Is it possible to create the menu announcement image and the ad video in the same session?

Yes. The complete workflow — ingredient image generation, Canvas text overlay, and XBRUSH Ad Studio ad video — can all be completed without leaving the XBRUSH and XBRUSH Ad Studio platform. No additional tools are needed.

Q: Can the ingredient images be used directly on SNS without adding a text overlay?

Yes. Clean ingredient styling images perform well as standalone posts announcing seasonal flavors. Adding text through Canvas is optional and only needed when a specific message needs to be included.
