Open Studio
Summary: Open Studio is a shared studio open to everyone. Browsing needs no login — open any task and watch the same AI agent Workspace uses, working in real time. To join in and generate you do need to log in, but the generation runs on a shared credit pool XBRUSH provides for everyone, so none of your own credits are spent. The pool is shared by everyone and resets every day at midnight KST (Seoul time, UTC+9).
Overview
"The studio is open. Watch the work as it happens, create together for free."
Click Open Studio in the top navigation. The landing page opens with two buttons:
- Browse tasks — jump to the task list below and watch work in progress.
- Start for free — begin a task of your own.
Under the buttons is a live status line — "No live tasks right now — 3 open to join" — telling you at a glance whether anything is running this moment and how many tasks you can join.
The two task lists

Each card carries the same information:
- Thumbnail — outputs produced in that task, with a strip of additional results alongside
- Title and description — what the task is making, written by the host
- Team name — the team running it, with an Official badge on XBRUSH-run tasks
- Elapsed time — how long ago it ran (
17h) or the date it ran (8/11) - Open to join badge — shown on cards that still accept participants
💡 Everything on this page is visible without logging in. Open a card and see how it was made before you decide whether to create an account — logging in is only needed once you want to generate something yourself.
Watching a Task in Progress
A live task. The generation panel is on the left, and the conversation with its results streams on the right.
Click any card and you enter as a spectator. The left rail says Spectating — you're watching the host's live workspace, which is exactly what is happening: this is the host's real screen, not a replay.
Reading the header
The bar at the top of the task carries its current state:

The left panel
This is the same generation panel as Workspace — Image / Video / Audio tabs, the Generate · Edit · Outpaint · More sub-tabs, a prompt box, engine and style selection, size, and number of images. In the example above the engine is Z-Image Turbo with a FREE badge, and the run button reads Generate ✦ Free.
Because the panel is identical, whatever you learn here transfers directly to Workspace.
The conversation stream
The right side is where the task actually unfolds. Every entry shows:
- Who did it — the participant's name
- What was run — a Generate label with the engine used, such as GPT Image 2
- The prompt — the full text that produced the result
- The result — generated images, with a timestamp
- Report — flag content that shouldn't be there
Between the generations you can see participants talking to the AI agent in plain language and the agent replying — explaining what it is working on, and noting roughly how many credits a request will cost. This is the part worth watching: the prompts and the reasoning are visible, not just the finished images.
At the bottom, "Log in to create together" appears with a Create with XBRUSH link, and the chat box is prefilled with an example — What should we make? e.g. "4 samples of kids swimming".
Starting a New Task
A newly created task. It waits at "Start anything with a chat" until the first instruction arrives.
Use Start for free on the landing page, or Create with XBRUSH in the left rail of any task.
🔒 Browsing is open to everyone, but creating a task or joining one requires login. Generation still costs you nothing of your own — see Task settings below.
A fresh task opens empty, with Start anything with a chat in the center. There are two ways to begin:
- Type an instruction in the chat box at the bottom. Plain language is enough — describe the result you want and the AI agent works out the steps.
- Drop a file onto the center area. Drop files here — ready to use as material means an image you drag in becomes source material for the task immediately.
If you would rather control the details yourself, use the left panel instead of the chat: pick a tab (Image, Video, or Audio), choose an engine and style, set the size and number of images, and press Generate.
Task settings
The header shows the same indicators as any other task, plus one you control:
- 💳 10,000 — the credits available for generation. XBRUSH provides these and every user shares them; they are never taken from your own balance. Because the pool is common, whatever someone else uses is no longer there for you — the bar falls as anyone generates, and generation stops once it is empty. The pool resets every day at midnight KST (Seoul time, UTC+9), so an exhausted pool is full again the next day.
- 👥 0/10 — how many people have joined, out of the maximum.
- 🔒 Participation closed — whether others may join. A closed task can still be watched; it just cannot be joined.
💡 Name the task before sharing the link. A descriptive title is what makes people open your card rather than scroll past it.
Open Studio and Workspace
Open Studio and Workspace run the same AI agent and the same generation panel. The difference is who they belong to.

Once you know how you want to work, move to Workspace — your jobs stay private there, your team's folders, history, and storage come with it, and the credits are yours rather than shared with everyone else.
💡 Because the pool is shared, it may already be low by the time you arrive. If generation is unavailable, come back after midnight KST when the pool resets — or move to Workspace, where your team's credits are always yours to use.
